Project Profile
The expansion of Macau International Airport is a must with the growing demand from customers. The Passenger Terminal North Expansion was completed in 2018. Design work for the South Expansion of the Passenger Terminal Building commenced in 2019 with a March 2020 groundbreaking ceremony. Completion and operation of the South Extension is expected to be completed in 2022
Engineered supply of steel floor deck
Solideck was selected for the Macau Airport South Extension Project. The project selected SD 51-760 steel floor deck with a thickness of 1.0 mm ,area of about 3000 square meters .The SD 51-760 is a re-entry deck in steel floor deck that is very similar to the classic SD 53-600, but the SD 51-760 is more strongly stressed and costs a little less than the SD 53-600.
The metal deck required for the South extension project of macau airport had to be supplied within 1 month, including metal deck shop drawing, and Solideck lived up to the expectation and successfully completed the task.
