Introduction of SD38-914 steel deck

SD38-914 is a very classic steel deck sheet type, which is produced by many manufacturers in North America, and it is widely used in steel decks, steel roof decks.

SD38-914 is an example of a low-ribbed steel deck, often used for thin floors and flexible roofs. It is 1.5 inches high, has 6 ribs, and is 3 feet (914) wide. We can provide raw materials with thickness of 18-24 gauge, and galvanized sheet of 120g/m²–275g/m², or color-coated sheet available.

As a steel deck, SD38-914 can be used as both a composite steel deck and a steel form deck. When used as a composite steel floor deck, its ribs are covered with mechanical embossments to ensure bonding with concrete; when SD38-914 is used as a steel formwork, the ribs are smooth; but when used as a steel roof deck, the ribs of SD38-914 are smooth, and of course, sound-absorbing holes can be set up, and sound-absorbing cotton can be placed in the ribs.
