Solideck Signs Steel floor Decking Supply Contract for Macau Phase III Incineration Plant

After unremitting efforts, Solideck signed a steel floor decking contract for the flue gas treatment room and garbage room of the main workshop of the Macau Phase III Incineration Plant.

Macau Phase III Incineration Plant Project Status

The first and second phases of the Macau Waste Incineration Center have processed a total of 1,728 tons of garbage per day, and the third phase of the project has a daily waste processing capacity of 1,300 tons. After completion, the total daily processing capacity of the Macau Waste Incineration Center will reach 3,028 tons, and the annual power generation will be about 400 million enough for 60,000 households. The completion of the project can effectively solve the problem of urban waste disposal in Macao, improve the efficiency of waste disposal, reduce the negative impact on the environment, and further improve the quality of life of residents. It will become a major benchmark project along the “Belt and Road” and in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area .

Application range of steel deck

This time, the Solideck metal deck is selected for the two floors of the flue gas treatment room and the incineration treatment room, with an area of about 6,000 square meters. The steel floor decking type uses form decking SD 51-750 and SD 76-690. The strength is 345 Mpa, and the amount of galvanizing is 275 g/m² on both sides.

This is the second time for SD 76-690 metal deck to be used in Macau. The last time SD 76-690 was used in the black box theater project in Macau. The SD 51-750 metal deck is used for the first time in Macau and the second time overseas. It will be used in the Dhaka Airport Terminal Project in Bangladesh in 2022. In the past, Solideck supplied steel floor decks overseas, mainly steel floor decking SD 51-915, SD 76-915, SD 53-600, etc., while SD 76-690 and SD 51-750 board types were used less, but as Solideck is becoming more and more popular in the world market It is believed that more types of steel decks will be applied.

Since 2017, relying on Solideck’s professional technical ability and good service awareness in steel decks, it has been providing steel decks for the construction of Macau. This is the first project to be done in Macau in 2023. I hope to provide more services for Macau construction in the future.
